Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 iSub V Tank Kit

Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 iSub V Tank Kit

Today I am having a look at the Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 iSub V Tank Kit, I have been using this Innokin package for a few days now and having used many Innokin Cool Fire mods over the last few years, I have to honestly say that this is by far the best Innokin mod I have tried, with wattage to temperature control ability, a 2 AMP charging feature and the Temperature Control Ramp Up?PRE BOOST?feature, the Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 is just faultless and with Innokin’s record on producing safe and reliable hardware we certainly do have a close to perfect package here.

Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 iSub V Tank Kit

Innokin have updated their ever popular Cool Fire 4 mod to introduce us to the newer Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100, what Innokin have done is to increase the battery from an internal 2000mAH size to a 3300mAH power cell, they have given us 100 watts as an upgrade from 40 Watts and we now have the temperature control facility as a huge added bonus.

Where I think the Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 really shines is that we now have the ability with the temperature control to use all wire types, so not only do we get the standard wattage mode for Kanthal wire we also get to use NI200, Titanium and Stainless Steel wires and Stainless steel can also be used in wattage mode as well as temperature control mode, more often than not, most TC mods only allow Kanthal and two other TC wires but Innokin have given us the ability to use all wire types here.

In The Box we get :
The Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 Mod
An Innokin iSub V Tank
A 0.5? iSub Kanthal BVC Coil
A 0.5? iSub SS 316L BVC Coil
A Micro USB Charging Cable
A Spare Delrin Drip Tip
Some O-Rings and a Vape Band
The User Manual
Innokin Stickers

The Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 iSub V Tank Kit allows for any of Innokin’s iSub coils to be used so we really are spoilt for choice from over ten different coils on the market currently, but the fact that this TC100 kit is supplied with both a Kanthal BVC coil and a Stainless Steel 316L coil means that you can use wattage or TC modes right away.

The Innokin iSub V Tank features the Innokin patented No Spill Coil Swap system which makes sure coil replacement is easy and mess free, we also have a spring loaded 510 connection with stainless steel threading, one of the best overall features for me is the fast 2 Amp charging feature and the ability of a pass through for vaping while charging.

The Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 iSub V Tank Kit specs :

I have always liked the Innokin Cool Fire line of mods, they tend to all work flawlessly and over the years have just gotten better and better as Innokin push them selves to develop an all round perfect setup, well! I think this time they have done it, firstly, Innokin are all about safety so when using their devices I have absolutely no worry that the device is going to be safe to use providing I use it properly, the display on the Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 is great, Innokin design their own boards in their mods and this one being the AETHON chip certainly handles the power pass through really well, the display is clear to read and provides all the info you need in both wattage and temperature control modes.

Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 iSub V Tank Kit

One of the features that I really liked about the Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 iSub V Tank Kit is that when you add a tank on to the mod, you usually have to go in to a menu and tell the mod that you have added a new tank and coil, but with the Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100, as soon as you screw on a tank, the mod asks you if it is the same coil you were using or is it a new Kanthal, SS, NI200 or Titanium coil, it’s a really nice feature, the temperature control feature is spot on, I was vaping on a Stainless Steel 316L coil at 480F degrees with a 50 watt power boost and the tank and mod were hitting spot on every time with not one dry hit what so ever, I have to say that the TC100 is my favourite Innokin mod to date and I am really liking the iSub V Tank as it fills easily and offers me the ability to use any of the iSub coils available.

If you use an Innokin device and you need to treat yourself to an upgrade, then I can highly recommend the Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 iSub V Tank Kit, having the Temperature Control facility there is just perfect and with Stainless Steel coils you can use both TC or Wattage mode with the same coil, it really is a no brainer, the Kit for the Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 with?iSub V Tank is available on the Vapour-Shack.com website or if you are in the Stoke On Trent area then pop in to our shop and we will be pleased to show you the kit in person.

SMOK Marshal G320 and TFV8 Baby Beast Tank Kit

When I got hold of the SMOK Marshal G320 and TFV8 Baby Beast Tank Kit I knew what I was letting myself in for, a triple 18650 mod that would be way to oversized and another one of Smok’s mega cloud wielding tanks that would produce no flavour what so ever, but, “oh my! was I shocked at how much I loved this kit,”.

The SMOK Marshal G320 is going to be a big device before you even physically get it out of the box because any mod that can hold a set of?triple 18650 batteries is going to have to be large to accommodate the three cells, on unpacking the Smok G320 you really do get to see the splendour of this oversized box mod in all it’s glory, the version I?had has a black metal body with red accentuated fire button and menu buttons.

SMOK Marshal G320 and TFV8 Baby Beast Tank Kit

In the box came :
The Marshal G320 Mod in a Black and Red Design
The TFV8 Big Baby Beast Tank
A V8 Baby-X4 Core 0.15 ohm Quadruple Coil
A V8 Baby-T6 Core 0.2 ohm Sextuple Coil
A Replacement Glass Tube
A USB Cable
The User Manual
And a bag of spare o-rings

No mod has ever been so futuristic in looks and yet so full of technical innovation inside and this is the second only time that I’ve looked at a Smoktech device and firmly liked what was in front of me, the Smok Marshal G320 is a big mod and it feels big in the hand, it has a lot of substance to it so if you have small hands this one may well be a challenge, although the curves of the body are streamlined and smooth, with an impressive classy black metal body and a fire button that is placed so ideally for me to just thumb press and actually the fire button in red reminds me of something robotic like a Cyclops eye or something, it just stands out and shouts “Press Me”, there is also the two smaller buttons on the side of the device which stand out on their own merits also red they are neither the same size as each other but make the look so appealing and unique, this one definitely gives me that futuristic vibe of using something that is not quite the norm of what I’m use to.

The outside of the mod is finished off with a square OLED screen on the top of the device which is something I’ve never had before, all my mods have the screen placement on the side of the body, but the Smok Marshal G320 makes looking at the screen so natural, I can even view and read it while taking a vape, it’s fantastic and bright with all the relevant information right their in front of you, volts, ohms, amps resistance, wattage, puff count, individual battery levels for all three cells and even tells you the temperature of the board?inside the mod?and much more info than is really needed but very informative, I have to give kudos to the designer of this device, it peeked my interest the minute I lifted the box lid.

The Marshal G320 will take triple 18650 batteries to give you a maximum wattage of 320 watts but you do not need to use three cells if you don’t want to, the G320 has a neat feature that will allow you to fit double 18650 batteries instead and give you only 220 watts, how amazing is that? this will make the mod a little lighter for you if weight is a concern, but I chose the three cells as this Smok device is all about the power it can provide.

Speaking of power, the specs of this device are as follows đŸ˜•
Triple or Optional Dual 18650 Platform: 320W – 220W
Mod Dimension 89.5mm x 61.5mm x 31mm
Fires down to a 0.06 ohm Resistance (TC)
Fires down to a 0.1 ohm Resistance (W)
Temperature Range of 200F – 600F
Supports Ni200 Nickel, Titanium and Stainless Steel
0.96 Inch Top OLED Display
Classy Side buttons
A Hinged Battery Cover
Gives a fully Balanced Charge Protection to all cells independently
A Micro USB Port for firmware upgrades and charging
A 510 Connection
Resistance Range: 0.1 -3ohm (VW) / 0.06 -3ohm (TC)

With The TFV8 Baby Beast I decided to try the V8 Baby-X4 Core 0.15 ohm Quadruple Coil first in the Tank which I filled with my favourite Ethos Crispy Treats e-liquid and I then placed the primed coil and tank on top of the G320 to sit and soak for a while, the TFV8 Baby Beast tank sits great on top of the G320 with the visible red O-rings of the tank matching the red accents of the mod perfectly and the tank is black in colour so gives the whole package a pleasing aesthetic, the TFV8 Baby Beast Tank has a rather large chuff style drip tip so I’m obviously going to get clouds for days from this Smok product just?like when I tested the TFV8 Cloud Beast Tank.

SMOK Marshal G320 and TFV8 Baby Beast Tank Kit

If my e-liquid was a humble pie flavour then I would be vaping a lot of it, I have got Smok totally wrong again, the SMOK Marshal G320 really does feel nice in the hand during full time use as I knew it would, from the button placement to the accentuated colours and to the OLED screen this mod is just perfect for my style of vaping and mod use, I have no issues what so ever based on my use after a week with the G320, but where I eat humble pie is with the Smok TFV8 Baby Beast Tank, I have been using the tank and mod for a full week and I’m still on the V8-X4 0.15 ohm coil, it is standing up perfectly to my Crispy Treats e-liquid which is high in sugar and is known to gunk a coil up, but this coil just keeps giving, this is why I actually rebuild my own coils and wicks daily, but the Baby Beast coil is handling my juice with no problem, I’m also stunned, when I tested the TFV8 Cloud Beast Tank I had clouds for days and It was really off putting for me as I’m a flavour junky, A tank needs to give me flavour or it gets put to the back of the vape draw, but with the TFV8 Baby Beast I have a very nice flavour especially with the 0.15 ohm coil, and I don’t have to reach some stupidly high wattage to get the flavour, This is either down to the coil or the fact that the Baby Beast is a smaller tank than the Cloud Beast or a combination of both coil and tank size.

I am currently at 55 watts with the triple batteries installed, the coil is rated best at 45w – 60w, I have a perfect flavour from my e-liquid and most shockingly is that I have a decent amount of cloud compared to the Cloud Beast Tank which gave me way to much cloud, I can only put this down to the coil that I’m using as I used exactly the same DIY e-liquid in the Cloud Beast Tank, the vape from the TFV8 Baby Beast Tank is cool to warm at 55w which is my preferred vape temperature, the clouds are full bodied and dense but?no where near cloud chasing territory and the flavour is just stellar, I just hope the 0.2 ohm coil will be much the same but I will update this blog as and when I try that coil but at present and looking at the coil I’m currently using I think I’m going to get at least another few days before flavour starts to diminish.

In summery I have to say that I am totally mistaken in thinking Smok is all about clouds, I have found a Smok Tank in the TFV8 Baby Beast that is great for my style of vaping and one that looks really classy and well suited to the mod that it came with, the?SMOK Marshal G320 and TFV8 Baby Beast Tank Kit,?the well suited pair that are still giving me “the exceptional vape that I wasn’t expecting“.

If you fancy trying out this same kit, Vapour Shack has it available on the website HERE.

First of all I think the most important item you need to own when building your own coils is an OHM reader, the 521 Mini Tab included in the Coil Master DIY Kit V3 for Coil Builders is the item every coil builder needs, it not only serves as a base to screw your device deck on to but it will safely read and check your coil ohms and with a flick of the switch it will fire your coil, the 521 Mini Tab takes 1 x 18650 battery in the base (not included), and can read and fire coils down to a 0.01 resistance.

The Coiling Kit V4 and the Silicon rubber case for jigs are the two items used to make your coil sizes, from 1.5mm diameter coils up to 4mm diameter coils, there is also a T styled HEX screwdriver which has three head sizes to fit most hex screws on various sized decks, we have a pair of Stainless steel folding scissors which are great for cutting cotton, if you only use them for cotton then they will always be free of contaminants and will cut your cotton cleanly and neatly.

The Pen styled Phillips and Flathead screwdrivers are for decks that have either of these screw types and that are a larger sized head than Hex screws, the Ceramic Tweezers are great for pinching your coil while firing the coil, if you were to pinch a coil while firing with an ordinary metal tweezer you would create a short on your mod and the coil would snap, but ceramic is non conductive so the Ceramic Tweezers are great to have in the Coil Master DIY Kit V3 for Coil Builders.

The kit also includes some Elbow Tweezers these are great for poking the cotton in to the deck once it has been passed through your coil, the Diagonal pliers are awesome for trimming the excess tails off of your coils, they get in really close and snip just where you need them too, the Needle-nose pliers are great for stubborn wires that will not fit through screw holes very easily and are great for grabbing the wire.

Last but not least, you can not build any coil without some wire or cotton, there is a 30ft reel of 24GA Kanthal A1 wire included to give you a great start building a coil on most RTA’s or various RDTA’s and Coil Master also include some Japanese Organic Cotton to get your wicking of the coil done at the same time.

Sometimes you maybe building on a smaller than average deck and the included 24GA wire might be too thick, however Vapour Shack does stock other Coil Master wire sizes and I would recommend customers spend a little extra and purchase a 28GA wire as this wire is a lot more versatile for many other smaller RDTA’s and it’s always worth having a good selection of Kanthal wire gauges as you never know what you may need to build a certain resistance of coil too, also extra cotton is always going to be needed so Pro Cotton from Vapour Shack is well worth using.

Coil Master A1 Wire?Coil Master Pro Cotton

Coil building maybe something your interested in learning about, the Coil Master DIY Kit V3 is the only tool you will need to start you off on that road of learning, it’s a great kit and I use mine nearly every day, I have a lot of RDA’s, Tanks and RDTA’s, most of them I rebuild with a coil that suits?the?flavour preference of a particular e-liquid, and you are not limited to pre made coils when you have a kit such as this.

I will be making a video or tutorial in the coming weeks to show you how to build a basic coil using the Coil Master DIY Kit V3 for Coil Builders and the included wire and cotton to show you just how easy it is to do, so please keep an eye open for this on our social media.
